1. About us and this website

The Travel Delta Star website is operated by SC Travel Delta Star SRL, VAT number RO33982696, trade register no. J36/12/16.01.2015, registered office Strada a II-a nr. 282, Sulina, Tulcea County, Romania. By using the website you accept these terms.

2. Information on the website

Timetables, fares and routes are updated regularly. The dispatcher confirms the time, fare and boarding pier when you book; the dispatcher’s confirmation takes precedence over the information on the website.

3. Bookings

Bookings are made by phone only, on 0752 917 592. A booking is valid once the dispatcher confirms it. If your plans change, let the dispatch office know as early as possible, so the seat can go to another passenger. Payment details, fares for older children and the conditions for cancelling or changing a booking are available from the dispatch office.

Tours are booked with a deposit of 30% of the total price. The full tour conditions are on Excursii Delta Dunării.

4. Travel conditions

• Boarding starts 15 minutes before departure.
• The ticket includes up to 20 kg of luggage per person, with dedicated space on board. Extra luggage is charged separately, and special trips are arranged for bulky items.
• Life jackets are worn for the whole trip, as required by maritime law. They are provided on board.
• Passengers follow the crew’s instructions on boarding, seating and safety on board.
• Children aged 2 and under travel free. Minors travel with an adult. Pets, bicycles and special luggage must be mentioned when booking.
• On request, the boat stops at any pier where it can moor safely, including the private piers of hotels and guesthouses, if you named the stop when booking.

5. Delays, weather and changes to a trip

If a passenger is late, we call them and do our best so that nobody misses the boat. If you know you will be late, call the dispatch office.

Passenger safety comes first. If the weather or the water level does not allow safe sailing, we may postpone or change a trip; we will call you and offer another departure.

6. Copyright

The texts, photos, logo and other materials on this website belong to SC Travel Delta Star SRL or are used with their authors’ permission. They may not be copied or used commercially without our written consent.

7. Links to other websites

This website links to other websites, for which we are not responsible. Their use is governed by their own rules.

8. Complaints and disputes

If you are unhappy with anything, write to contact@traveldeltastar.ro or call the dispatch office; we try to settle everything amicably. Consumers can also use the alternative dispute resolution procedure (SAL) of the Romanian consumer protection authority ANPC: anpc.ro/ce-este-sal. These terms are governed by Romanian law.
